Deftones Live

this was my fifth time seeing deftones live, and its always as good; if not BETTER than the previous show!!! this will destroy you opened; i kinda liked em...not really..but they were a good band for deftones to blow out of the water performance-wise..the tones didnt start until 8:30, so i was anxiously waiting for them to begin...all the lights go out, people start screaming; i knew it was time!!sergio walked on stage first, then frank, stephan, abe, chino last- i heard abe do the four count with his drum sticks and -BOOM!!! Diamond Eyes!!Then; they immediately went straight into Rocket Skates!! The band was sounding so bad ass!! mix was great; with the small exception that the guitars were a little low..they faded out of ROC SKATES, and chino greeted everyone..then abe kicked off Around the Fur!!!!then-my own summer, BQ&D..after be quiet faded-chino addressed the crowd saying 'this ones for Chi!' - abe and sergio busted out the intro to DAI THE FLU!!!!!!!i couldnt believe it!!!i went ape shit!!!Then was- ELITE!!and KNIFE PARTY!!,digital bath, prince, you've seen the butcher, sextape, **ROYAL-i lost my shit when they played this one!!!i was hoping id get to see this one live!!, beauty school, risk...chino, then, came out into the crowd on the left hand side of the building..the only way i can describe it was he was suspeded above the crowd by standing on a tier..he was real close to all of us-and-BOOM : PASSENGER!!!chino stayed on the tier for the entire song!!I'll upload pics (of chino on the tier) on here when i get a chance..THEN-Change(i.t.h.o.f), **BIRTHMARK*!!!, ENG# 9, and of course; 7words... i know i say this at the end of every deftones show, but; this was the best concert ive ever been to!!!! next stop-blackdiamondskye(9/26/10)-fairfax,va!!!!
