AN ADDICTING OBSESSION

An Addicting Obsession
Can't Stop Listening
Consuming my passion
Close my eyes
Listen.....you're close.....
Rolling off your tongue
Into my ears
Filling me with ecstasy
I'm high on your sound
How long will it last
I need it again
Day after day
Craving this attraction
This obsession is addicting
I need more...closer into me....
I want it so bad it hurts

Webter theater, May 7 2011

My life has been filled with heartache for quite awhile. My sister has stage 4 cancer and my parents are fighting for what they have left in them, so they can help her. The pain at times has been unbearable. I have three young daughters that has seen their mom cry too much.

When I heard The Deftones were coming I ordered my tickets right away. I finally had something to look forward to. I have seen them twice before and got such an adrenaline rush from their shows. Only one who has been to their shows would understand. Knowing that I was going to the concert, gave me something else to think about, besides the dreadful reality my family has been going through. I have to still keep going on for my girls and this is definitely what I needed to put my ass into gear.

Northern Lights in Clifton Park NY

This was my second time at a Deftones Concert. I was a few weeks pregnant with my second daughter. Obviously I didn't know when I bought the tickets. I had to go. We had to go up front. When the Deftones came out their was a mad rush of people to be up front and a fight to squeeze through. My husband was stressed because I was pregnant, not to let anyone push me. We were so hot then Chi threw water on us. I was so pumped when I left and couldn't wait to do it again. My husband had fun but said we were too old for concerts like that. The hell we're not! Ill just leave him home next time. This chick is never too old to rock!

My concert at Jones Beach Sept 1, 2011

I was going to see GODSMACK when I first discovered the Deftones. The first act was Puddle Of Mud. The NY crowd hated them and booed them to get off stage. The singer was boring to watch. If I can remember right he even said fuck you and the crowd became more angry. Thank God they left the stage. When the Deftones came out, right away they projected a tremendous energy to the crowd. Chino was so fun to watch because he actually looked like he enjoyed singing. When they were done the crowd was pumped. I was then hooked forever to love the Deftones. Godsmack was now bumped on the list. Deftones on top. =]
